The incredible Twin Tone mic... with a rare black label CR element. (availability varies) These elements were produced only in the late 1940's/early 1950's and are becoming quite scarce. The good news is that they were exceptionally well made, an all-original correctly functioning example is likely to provide many years of trouble free service.

Some CR's definitely sound better than others, only the best make the cut for a Twin Tone! Along with the Shure R7 crystal, the black label CR is widely regarded as the "Holy Grail" of harp mic elements.
